Inclusive Learning

Every learner, supported

We meet every child where they are. Our Special Educator, Smt. Priya Trehan (M.A., B.Ed. – Spl. Education), works alongside classroom teachers to provide individualised support, remedial sessions, and reasonable accommodations for diverse learners.

Our Counsellor and Wellness Teacher, Dr Preeti Jain (M.A., Ph.D. – Psychology), supports students’ social and emotional growth. Together with a strong pastoral care system, they ensure that students of all abilities and backgrounds feel seen, challenged, and able to thrive.

NEP 2020

A transformative vision, put into practice

The National Education Policy 2020 replaces the traditional 10+2 framework with a developmental 5+3+3+4 structure, emphasising equity, inclusivity and comprehensive student development. Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar has restructured its pre-primary and primary curricula in line with the policy – prioritising creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving through an innovative, learner-centric approach.

Skill-based subjects further equip learners with practical competencies, preparing them to thrive in an ever-evolving world. As the policy aptly reminds us, “Education is not merely about acquiring information–it is the art of shaping life itself.”

Assessments & Results
