Students
At the heart of Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar, is the student – curious, spirited, and full of promise. Learning here extends beyond the classroom, with students participating in storytelling sessions, competitions, Model United Nations, and awareness drives on organ donation, first aid, health, and hygiene. Every child finds a platform to grow into a confident and well-rounded young individual.

Parents
Partnership with parents plays a pivotal role in our mission to prepare our students for the future. Families remain closely connected to their child’s learning journey through Parent-Teacher Meetings, interactive sessions, workshops, and the Parent-Teacher Association. An orientation day sets the tone for each academic year, helping parents become acquainted with the school ethos. Parents are also invited into classrooms as storytellers, enriching students’ learning experiences.

Faculty

In line with NEP 2020’s expectation that every teacher complete 50 hours of professional development each year, the school conducts year-round capacity-building programmes through workshops, webinars, masterclasses, and conclaves. These programmes are led in collaboration with expert partners, including CBSE, AIIMS, and UNESCO, and are anchored in competency-based education, emotional intelligence, and global perspectives.
