Five Sets, Five Victories: A Memorable Day of Sport and Learning
On Friday, 18 September 2026, the Under-17 Volleyball Team of Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar, visited the American School on their invitation for a friendly best-of-five match. Displaying remarkable teamwork, determination and sporting spirit, our team delivered an exceptional performance, securing victory in all five sets.
The match provided a valuable exposure and learning experience, particularly for the new players, who had the opportunity to compete in an unfamiliar environment and gain confidence through meaningful sporting interaction.
The school sincerely appreciates the American School for its warm hospitality and thoughtful arrangements, including transportation for the team and a barbecue dinner and evening snacks for the students and staff.
The enriching encounter fostered sportsmanship, camaraderie and confidence, leaving the team with cherished memories and valuable lessons beyond the volleyball court.
