The Magic of Failure

With the inspiring thought, ‘If you fail, never give up because FAIL means First Attempt in Learning’, Class V-B presented an insightful morning assembly on the theme ‘The Magic of Failure’ on 12 October 2026. The assembly emphasised perseverance, self-belief and the importance of learning from mistakes.

The assembly commenced with the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra, the Thought of the Day followed by Positive Affirmations that further reinforced the values of confidence, optimism and self-belief.

The highlight was an engaging enactment of The Magic of Failure, Through Rahul’s story and an interview with Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, students learnt that failure does not define one's potential. Dr Kalam’s experience of not being selected as a fighter pilot illustrated how resilience, determination and the courage to explore alternative paths can lead to remarkable achievements.

The respected Headmistress, Smt Sheetal Kapoor, inspired students to learn from their mistakes and view setbacks as opportunities for growth. She also awarded the badges for Meal Marvel and Voracious Readers.

The assembly concluded with the inspiring message, ‘Fall, Learn, Rise, Keep Going’, encouraging students to face challenges with confidence, sincerity and perseverance.
