Swachhata Hi Seva 2026: A Collective Step Towards Cleanliness

As part of CBSE’s Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2026 campaign, Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar-III, organised a special cleanliness drive on 1 October 2026, promoting Jan Bhagidari and collective responsibility towards maintaining clean surroundings.

Students of Classes III to XII enthusiastically participated in Shramdaan under the nationwide Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath initiative. They cleaned and organised their classrooms, Science Laboratories, Computer Lab, STEM Lab, Library and other school spaces. Teachers also contributed actively by cleaning and organising their respective work areas.

The initiative encouraged teamwork, civic responsibility and a sense of ownership among students. It reinforced the message that cleanliness is not merely a one-day activity but a shared responsibility and an essential part of everyday life.
