‘Conquering Inner Evils, Embracing Goodness — The True Spirit of Dussehra’.
Parakram House organised a special assembly on 16 October 2026 to celebrate Dussehra, symbolising the triumph of good over evil and righteousness over arrogance. The programme commenced with Vande Mataram and the Gayatri Mantra, followed by a soulful rendition of Bolo Ram Jai Jai Ram, highlighting the virtues of Lord Rama.
A thought-provoking nukkad natak, Aaj Ka Ravan, drew attention to the evils prevalent in modern society, such as dishonesty, greed, anger, jealousy and arrogance. The presentation encouraged students to reflect on their actions and overcome these negative traits. Adding a cultural dimension to the assembly, students presented a vibrant Durga Puja folk dance on Gouri Elo Dekhe Cholo, conveying the message of courage, resilience and the victory of good over evil.
In her address, the Principal encouraged students to practise truth, humility, kindness and righteousness in their daily lives. She also highlighted the importance of environmental responsibility and urged students to avoid harmful practices such as excessive use of plastic.
The assembly concluded with the National Anthem, reinforcing the message that the true spirit of Dussehra lies in overcoming inner evils, making responsible choices and contributing to a compassionate and environmentally conscious society.
