Exploring the Role of Satellites in Everyday Life

The morning assembly of Class IX-A was conducted on 20 August 2026 on the theme “Satellites and Their Role in Communication and Weather Forecasting.” The assembly aimed to familiarise students with the significance of satellites in modern life and their contribution to communication, weather forecasting, disaster management and scientific advancement.

The assembly commenced with a warm Welcome Address, followed by the Gayatri Mantra and Prayer, creating an atmosphere of positivity and reflection. The Thought of the Day encouraged curiosity, perseverance and continuous learning, while the Positive Affirmation inspired students to develop confidence, optimism and a constructive outlook.

The News Segment provided an overview of important national, international, sports and school-related developments, promoting awareness of current affairs. The highlight of the assembly was the research presentation on satellites, during which students shared informative facts about their role in television, mobile networks and internet services, as well as weather forecasting, climate monitoring and early warnings during natural disasters.

The assembly provided students with an opportunity to strengthen their research, communication, presentation and teamwork skills while understanding how space technology has become an integral part of everyday life and contributes to the safety and development of society. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem, sung with pride and respect. Overall, it was an informative, engaging and thought-provoking learning experience.
