Fostering practical skills, experiential learning and the dignity of labour

An orientation session on Kaushal Bodh and Kaushal Vikas was conducted for the teachers of Classes VI–X on Saturday, 19 September 2026, by Ms. Manvi Shukla and Ms. Neelima Goyal, as a follow-up to the briefing conducted by the Vice Principal Ma’am on Friday, 18 September 2026.

The session focused on the objectives and key distinctions between the two CBSE initiatives, highlighting their role in promoting skill-based, experiential and competency-oriented learning. In alignment with CBSE’s emphasis on integrating vocational education with mainstream learning, teachers were oriented towards the prescribed curriculum, mandatory components, assessment patterns and implementation guidelines.

Special emphasis was placed on hands-on activities, learning by doing, exposure to real-life work situations, development of practical skills, creativity, problem-solving, collaboration and the dignity of labour. Teachers were also introduced to suitable classroom activities and strategies for effectively integrating skill education into the teaching-learning process.

The session served as a meaningful step towards equipping teachers to create engaging, practical and future-ready learning experiences for students.
