
Bridging Classroom Learning with the Dynamic World of Media
As part of the school’s Experiential Learning Programme, a group of 16 students of Class XII, accompanied by teachers, visited Times Internet Ltd., Film City, Noida, on Tuesday, 22 September 2026. The visit was organised to provide students with first-hand exposure to the functioning of the media industry and enable them to connect classroom learning with real-world professional practices.
During the visit, students gained valuable insights into various aspects of the media industry, including news reporting, editing, production and digital publishing. They were introduced to the functioning of a contemporary media organisation and learnt about the processes involved in creating and disseminating news and digital content. The role of technology in transforming the modern media landscape and the diverse career opportunities within the industry were also explored.
Interactions with media professionals offered students valuable insights into the skills, responsibilities and professional competencies required in the field. The visit proved to be an informative, engaging and enriching learning experience, broadening students’ understanding of the media industry and providing meaningful exposure to the professional world.
